Distressed Flowers

Hi

Today I would like to share a card I made  for the Claritystamp Challenge on Facebook, using up some of my backgrounds I have been making  so this was quick card to put together.
Background was made with Distress Inks and I also added some Ken Oliver Colour Burst and spritzed lightly.

Using Claritystamp stamps I stamped 3 times onto the dried background with shabby shutter distress ink for a muted image.  I married two stamps together as I wanted to use this pretty Lady's Mantel stamp and the stem from another.  Word stamp stamped onto same background cutout and Flakes applied to edges.......very sticky fingers..... 😊
Using flitter glue For the final image and Guilding Flakes I also dabbed glue randomly onto background and applied the Flakes.
This panel was mounted onto coordinations card which I sanded back, added to a Kraft card blank.

I would also like to add to the following challenges

Thanks for popping by 'till next time

All you need.......

.......Is Love

After a mamouth clear out of my craft room and 4 sacks of recycled card and paper later I have nearly finished not quite still some boxes to go through, I have been brutal with all the bits and scraps of card and paper also items to alter have gone......although I still have 1 box of backgrounds and large scraps of card.  So today I had a fabulous time in my tidy craft room making a mess oh yes my empty desk is no longer but I had great fun getting inky.

I have used Sheena Douglass stamps from her range of A Little bit Festive proving Christmas stamps do not always have to be used just for Christmas.  This Victorian Gentleman is so handsome don't you think.

My gentleman was coloured using Spectrum Noir Pencils, distress ink vintage photo was blended onto card for a vintage feel, next this was embossed with a Sheena folder which  I distressed the edges and blended vintage photo and ground expresso on the embossing, gold guilding wax  was added to the embossed area also.
The paper I founded while clearing up and it reminded me of Victorian wallpaper, but it was too clean so I distressed with vintage photo and the edges where distressed and torn...that's better..... guilding wax was also added to edges.
Tim Holtz tattered banner was cut from card coloured with distress ink barn door vintage photo stamped in ground espresso. The background piece was stamped and distressed as before, the word love was a wooden word coloured in same inks and gold guilding wax applied to edges.  All this was mounted onto Kraft card .

Stormy Weather

Today is windy and pouring with rain so off to the craft room to play.   While playing I came up with this using some of my favourite Tim Holtz stamps, actually I won this set some years ago
and it is signed by Tim!!!  I have only just bought myself to actually ink the stamps.......

Over at Country View Crafts there challenge for February is a time challenge 30mins or under, this took me 28mins, I had a background already made which I cut to size stencilled some circles over the background with various distress inks, sequin waste was on my desk from something else added a few tiny buttons and stamped my umbrella man in black versifine ink onto the main background and also onto another piece of distress ink background and cut him out. Words from same set on the same background stencilled with circles and cut out, a very quick make  which all came together in a flash.....I do like days like this......
