Flower Power

Good Morning

How the weeks fly by and once again its time for  my DT card for
Glitter N Sparkle Challenge Blog Challenge #190
which  starts today and the Theme this week is
Flower Power
My Image this week is
Flowers in a bottle
from one of our sponsors
A Day for Daisies

This is a gorgeous image to work with so many possibilities I chose to keep things simple.
I have used Spectrum Noir pens to colour image, which I printed out twice and cut out the flowers to give dimension, the edges were inked with peacock feathers distress ink.  An embossing folder from spellbinders was used for the white layer and bakers twine wrapped around. The sentiment is from stampin' up so are the oval punches.  Edges of card were inked with same ink and I attached the main image with foam pads.

Thanks for stopping by

Butterflies

Hi Everyone

Time seems to flying by and here I am again with my DT card for
Glitter N Sparkle Challenge Blog Challenge #189
which  starts today and the Theme this week is
Anything Goes
My Image this week is
Fancy Butterflies
from one of our sponsors
Sparkle N Sprinkle

These gorgeous butterflies are a joy to colour so many possibilities, I chose to colour with Spectrum Noir and added glitter to them which does show up on a close up just really hard to get the camera to show it up well, the sentiments were cut with spellbinders dies and I inked through the dies with distress ink, mowed lawn and picked raspberry.  The designer paper was added to the card blank before adding the sentiments, the butterflies I mounted on foam pads.

Ribbons and Lace

Hi everyone

Time seems to flying by and here I am again with my DT card for
which  starts today and the Theme this week is
Ribbons or Lace
My Image this week is
Thinking of you
from one of our sponsors
Patties Creations

Sunflowers are my favourite flower they remind me of summer and always look so cheerful.
I have coloured with Spectrum Noir pens and kept the image quite large to fill my card blank. I added glitter to the wings of my butterfly and also to the centre of the sunflower.  Teal ribbon and vintage lace were the finishing touches for my card. A simple design and a quick card to make, I wanted  to allow this beautiful image to be the star.

Hi everyone

Time seems to flying by and here I am again with my DT card for
which  starts today and the Theme this week is
One For The Ladies
My Image this week is
Looking Good  from
All Dressed Up

She looks like she has fun shopping and I really enjoyed colouring her
I decided on this lovely paper another from my stash bits box so no idea of the origin, I loved the colour palate and carried the colours into her clothes.  I punched white card with a lovely lacy punch and cut the edge from a scalloped piece of Jade card.  I inked all the edges of the card paper and image with distress inks picked raspberry and peacock feathers.  Lastly a rummage for some flowers and a lucky find was the Ice cream sundae chipboard embellishment, the colours were a perfect match.

Finally I added blue Gems
