Mermaids

Hi everyone

Today I am posting my DT inspiration for Glitter N Sparkle Challenge #193 which starts today and the theme this week is Anything Goes.

My sponsored image for this challenge is from Auror Wings

I wanted to make something other than a card and as these cute mermaids reminded me of the Sea so I decided on a hanging and my theme was seaside based.  I found a frame that had been lurking in my craft room and painted chalk paint in places. The Mermaids were cut with one of my favourite dies a Tattered Lace circle die, I always seem to reach for this one as it is so versatile I love the holes which can be threaded with ribbon or thread for a different look.  Spectrum Noir Pens for colouring the Mermaids, I added sequins to their tails and gems and also a little glitter here and there, I mounted onto foam pads for height and added some net and various die cuts.

I would also like to join the following challenges

Thanks for stopping here

Maggie
