...Week 5 Calendar Challenge
Another hectic week here which has passed with appointements for me and appointements for Mum has meant no crafting time................again............well today I caught up with the H*******k this morning so I could join The Craft Barn Calendar Challenge this week we were asked to use Paper Tape or make our own. With such a limited time I chose to use some pretty Washi Tape I found in my stash.........not sure where I got it from could have been a freebie with a magazine!!
May reminds me of Fete's and Bunting and Flowers so that's what I have made...........
The background was a sheet of rose covered paper I found while looking for my Washi Tape I inked the edges in vintage photo, Bunting was attached to some vintage Bakers Twine and added with glue dots. Flowers are Washi Tape pleated and folded around a punched circle with added buttons I love the shabby chic look I ended up with for May and a pleasing result for a hurried effort.
Off now into the kitchen to do some baking Mum is 91 years young tomorrow and we (family) are getting together here ........8 for Sunday lunch........me head chef...... DH veg prep and bottle washer.....I hope lol !!!!!
Thank you to everyone who has left me lovely comments for last weeks calendar challenge I have tried to catch up with you all sorry if I have missed any. I will pop over to the Challenge later when I put my feet up to have a look at all the other ladies work and leave comments, after SCD (Strictly) and Merlin lol.
Bye for now 'till next time
