Hello everyone sorry I have been such a bad blogger lately, there is so much going on at the moment and I haven't been able to get much crafting done, DH is retiring and so has the job of closing down his business, sort out the yard and workshop....nearly 30 years of sorting!!.......then there is the office to archive which has been a bit of a nightmare which is where I have been spending such a lot of time......we are getting there now, it also is quite a sad time saying goodbye to staff. DH is looking forward to his retirement and hoping to make more time for
his hobbies.........hope he is not planning on using my room..........no...he wouldn't dare.........it is mine and too small for two!!!
Something else that has been time consuming .....I have also been trying to sort my crafty room out as I had lost the table that I work on under all the "stuff" and stash that was on it also the floor was so cluttered I was having trouble walking in there................soooooo it is being cleared and I am being hard de-cluttering and getting rid.......well putting in boxes...........things I have not used for a long time....... well that's the plan........
Today I settled into my little room with my newly cleared table with a big big space to work in and played with the gorgeous items I had won in the August challenge over at

My Prize Goodies
I used Tando Mask Bird and Branch and my new distress inks picked rasberry, mowed lawn and salty ocean oh these are gorgeous colours and by mixing picked rasberry and salty ocean the bird has a lovely lilac tint.
Next I took a Tando mini bookplate inked this with the three colours and using the mask added some leaves, on a small piece of seperate card and mask added leaves and stamped a happy birthday mounted this to the back of the mini plate and added two brads.
This is quite a "clean" card for me but still I couldn't resist distressing the edges of the white card, and inking the edges of the green mat with mowed lawn....... I will be linking to
