Altered Hat

Just thought I would pop in and say Hi and show you a hat I have altered. The hat I bought from a well known cheap shop and took off the emelishments it had on, then rumaged in my crafty stash and decorated as you see. The hat is for a fancy dress party in early June. The theme for our group is Magic and this is my Top Hat, we are off on holiday today  touring in our Motorhome in Wales and we attend a National Rally for a group we belong to in Camarthan over the Jubilee weekend when Saturday night is Party Night and I will be wearing the hat.

I apologise for the plant pot in the pic but was the only way I could stand the hat to photo

This is the first Hat I have altered and I had great fun!!!

ACT butterflies and things.....

Hi everyone just realised how long since my last blog.......Life has been sooooo busy just lately, I have been crating but nothing I can share at the moment, so today I thought I would share some ATC and Tag swaps I have completed lately for a forum I belong to.

The brief for this swap was butterflies I love how a little piece of lace an bakers twine turned into a lovely butterfly .... Distress inks and Tim Holtz ATC stamps in the background.

The brief for this ATC was using the free stamp from Craft Stamper Magazine for April.... I have used Kraft card and white distress stain stamped the hare in black and embossed with clear, the grasses are stamped in black with Stampin' Up! stamp set.

The brief was for Ribbon

My tag was Kraft card Tim Holtz Stamps the background is stamped in distress stain, main image stamped and embossed in black and highlighted with white pen.  I added gingham Kraft ribbon(Stampin' Up!)
